TULSA, Okla., Feb. 23, 2016 – Stonebridge Consulting’s Kate McCutcheon Stevenson has been named Education Program Chair of the Greater Oklahoma Chapter of Women’s Energy Network (WEN), an international organization committed to fostering career and leadership development of women who work in the energy industries.

“I am honored to be a part of WEN and to serve as Chair of the Greater Oklahoma Chapter’s Education Program,” Stevenson said. “I have been privileged to have strong role models throughout my career, and I have always tried to give back to others by mentoring and setting an example as both an oil and gas professional and a woman. As Education Program Chair, I will have a great opportunity to develop and implement career development programs for our Oklahoma membership.”

Stevenson has more than 15 years’ experience within the upstream oil and gas industry, including land, well planning, drilling, completions, and accounting. Today she is the Enterprise Director of Peloton Services at Stonebridge Consulting, with primary responsibility for developing Stonebridge’s Peloton service line, including resource development, marketing, business development and sales, delivery, and support. Stevenson also serves on the Stonebridge leadership team. Before joining Stonebridge in 2013, she has held senior positions at Devon Energy, EAG Services, SandRidge Energy, Chesapeake Energy, and Accenture. She is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

Stonebridge Consulting President Adam Hutchinson said, “Kate’s drive has been a tremendous asset to our team, and I have every confidence that her industry knowledge and ‘can do’ spirit will also have a similarly positive effect on WEN’s new Greater Oklahoma Chapter.”

WEN’s Greater Oklahoma Chapter was founded in 2015 and encompasses the cities of Tulsa, Cushing, Oklahoma City and Bartlesville. Founded in 1994, WEN is based on Schaumburg, Ill., and has more than 4,000 members.
