TULSA, Okla., June 16, 2016 – One of the largest independent oil and gas companies in the U.S. has selected Stonebridge Consulting as its strategic partner for its implementation of Peloton® WellView® well and drilling data management software.
The client, which is based in Texas and principally operates in the Permian Basin, placed in the top 250 of Platt’s 2015 Global Energy Company Rankings based on asset worth, revenues, profits and return on invested capital.
Stonebridge will team with Peloton to migrate the client’s drilling and completions (D&C) data from its existing system to WellView 10.1. In anticipation of the data migration, Stonebridge will perform a host of structured business advisory and technology services it has specifically designed to optimize the client’s WellView production environment, streamline and improve D&C processes, and accelerate the benefits of the software for the client’s business users and technical support.
Stonebridge’s services will focus on the following high-level deliverables:
- Process and Organization Alignment – map processes and data flows for daily drilling, daily completions, daily workover and well setup.
- Data Remediation and Mapping – conduct a data quality assessment via Stonebridge’s EnerHub™ DQM module to surface data inconsistencies as well as perform source-to-target mapping for the data migration.
- System Configuration – set up the WellView environment, including configuring the application by defined end user profile and designing custom WellView reports via Stonebridge’s “Well Ready” user profiles.
- Data and Application Integration – design and develop integration points between WellView and defined enterprise interfaces, including well header, AFE, data warehouse and GIS.
- Data Governance – work directly with the client’s business and IT teams to establish a formal D&C governance committee, and define and document enterprise policies around well header and completions data.
Kate Stevenson, Stonebridge’s Enterprise Director of Peloton Services, said, “The client chose Stonebridge because our ‘Well Ready’ process, data, and reporting accelerators enable upstream companies to optimize the value of their WellView implementation in a faster, leaner, and smarter way. Additionally, they see the value in utilizing our EnerHub DQM module on the front end to remediate and map the client’s data before it is migrated to WellView. Our pre-implementation methodology will put our client in the best position to take operational advantage of WellView from day one.”
Peloton President Monty Meloche said, “We are pleased to work with Stonebridge within an innovative joint engagement model that creates a blended delivery team to leverage the complementary strengths of our respective companies. The Peloton-Stonebridge team approach aligns with the needs of our client and the nature of the project, which ultimately leads to faster time to value for the client.”
Stonebridge’s “Well Ready” approach is designed to help upstream companies derive the inherent benefits of their WellView implementation via pre-built user profiles based on specific D&C functional roles. The Well Ready for WellView profile contains:
- Standard input form templates for data entry
