TULSA, Okla., Dec. 20, 2016 – The latest release of EnerHub™, the next-gen oil and gas data management platform from Stonebridge Consulting, includes significant enhancements to the solution’s core Data Quality Module (DQM).
EnerHub DQM measures data quality and identifies data discrepancies across source systems. EnerHub DQM includes 300+ business rules and pre-built connectors to sync and quality-check data across commercial and proprietary oil and gas business applications.
Stonebridge released Version 3.8 of EnerHub DQM to its user base last month. This latest update focuses on new data quality workflow and reporting enhancements, driven by user community feedback. Key enhancements include:
- Data Quality Workflow Optimization – EnerHub DQM now includes subscription-based notifications based on user-defined preferences.
- Data analysts and data stewards can subscribe to be notified of exceptions to specific rules.
- A notification can be assigned to a specific user for research and resolution.
- Notification Delivery Options – DQM users have more choices for how daily reports are delivered.
- A new daily email digest provides a summary of data issues with a link for more information within EnerHub DQM.
- A new daily email report lists user-subscribed exceptions in Excel or PDF format.
- Expanded Dashboard Capabilities – The DQM dashboard now includes summary-level views of the overall data quality program, including:
- Drill-down capability for different rule types as well as for specific outstanding issues.
- Dynamic filtering to enable users to customize views based on business need.
- Allowing users to expose EnerHub DQM data in reporting tools such as Spotfire.
In 2016 EnerHub installations have tripled, with DQM being a key component of the vast majority of these efforts—a data point that comes as no surprise to Stonebridge’s BJ Cummings, Enterprise Director for EnerHub.
“The quest for quality data – for gaining absolute confidence in the quality of the data that essentially drives the business – is a persistent challenge for upstream and midstream operators,” said Cummings. “With every new release, our mission is to ensure that EnerHub DQM addresses this challenge from the moment when the information asset enters the organization and continue monitoring that asset as it is shared and populated across business systems.”
