Stonebridge’s Peloton Ready Accelerators Enable Company to Significantly Increase Time-to-Value of Software Investment
TULSA, Okla., April 13, 2017 – A fast-growing Denver-based oil and gas company has refined its surface and downhole operations by optimizing its Peloton® SiteView® and WellView® applications. The new capabilities are the result of a large-scale Peloton implementation project led by Stonebridge Consulting, a leading provider of business advisory and technology services for next-gen oil and gas.
The company, an independent operator focused on resource plays in the Rocky Mountains, engaged Stonebridge to achieve four business objectives: 1) create a single source for key operational data by more fully leveraging SiteView and WellView; 2) convert historical data and newly acquired assets; 3) capture surface and downhole data more efficiently; and 4) configure the applications to be “future ready” and scale as the business grows.
Facing an aggressive timeline, the company looked to Stonebridge, a Peloton partner with extensive project experience in Peloton software deployments. Stonebridge brought its Peloton Ready solution accelerators—specifically Site Ready and Well Ready—into the project. Peloton Ready includes best practice-based configuration, data quality reports, over 130 pre-
configured libraries, process diagrams, test scripts, data conversion mappings, and more than 50 training documents and user-based standard operating procedures. These proprietary tools enabled the client to achieve their objectives 25 percent faster than had they followed a “from scratch” deployment approach.
To date, the business benefits have been impressive: streamlined processes; improved reporting, analysis and decision-support capabilities; time saved for higher-value activities by eliminating duplicate data entry as well as the need to search multiple locations for the correct data; and improved collaboration and information sharing across departments.
The company is also using SmartSource, Stonebridge’s managed services offering, to provide ongoing support and continuous improvement of the Peloton environment. Further, it has engaged Stonebridge to oversee the next phase of its SiteView deployment. This phase, focused on facilities operations, includes configuration and reporting for inventory control and material transfers, construction, and pipeline installation and maintenance.
